Hi, I’m Renee of Bed Stuy Compost! Like you, I’m interested in how to make composting as easy as possible for my neighbors in Bed Stuy.

I’ve spent a bit of time researching how to compost in our neighborhood. I figured my neighbors would benefit from the same information, especially those who are interested in the steps they can take to help the environment.   

I'm originally from North Carolina and have been living in Bed Stuy for eight years with my husband and cat. I enjoy gardening in our backyard and tree pit and am thrilled to use my biology degree (finally!) by conducting composting experiments.
